Planting method

🧫Pot soil selection: Orchid prefers soil that is loose, breathable and rich in organic matter. You can choose humus soil, river sand and vermiculite in a ratio of 1:1:1. For the pot, use a ceramic or plastic pot with good air permeability and sufficient drainage holes. Make sure the pot is large enough to accommodate the growth of the bulb and its root system.

⏱️Planting time: Orchid bulbs are suitable for planting in spring or summer. The environment in these two seasons is warm and conducive to the growth of bulbs. As long as the temperature is stable above 18 degrees, you can start planting.

🌱Bulb handling: Choose healthy, undamaged bulbs of moderate size that conform to the characteristics of the variety. First clean the root disk of the bulb, remove the dried root system, and then dry the wound. Then place the bulbs in a tray with water and wait for the roots to grow. When the roots have grown out, it can be potted.

🌺Key points for potting: Plant the seed bulb directly into the prepared pot soil, so that the buds of the orchid are facing upward and slightly exposed from the soil surface, while the other parts of the seed bulb are buried in the pot soil.
