Product Description

The "Bajaja" tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is a great dwarf tomato.

This sweet, juicy dwarf tomato is extremely productive, producing up to 700 small, 8-10 g, juicy red fruits per plant. With such a large fruit, there are plenty of delicious tomatoes to snack on or add to salads and other culinary dishes.

The 'Bajaja' tomato plant is a versatile variety because its size can be controlled by the size of the planting container. This makes it ideal for early tomato crops in patio containers, and this compact shrub variety doesn't require regular lateral pruning, making it especially easy to grow. Ideal for growing in pots on balconies and in indoor vegetable gardens.

Height: 25-35cm

How To Grow

🌱Sow the seeds on a surface of a good, well-drained, moist seeding mix/coir and sprinkle with a fine dusting of compost or coir/vermiculite. 7-14 days. When the seedlings have developed 2 true leaves, repot into individual 7.5 cm (3 in) compost pots

🪴When tomato plants are growing well, transplant them into larger pots or containers. Place the pot outdoors in a sunny, sheltered location, suitable for balconies and patios.

💧Water your tomato plants frequently to keep the compost evenly moist. When the first fruits form, fertilize tomatoes regularly with a high-quality liquid fertilizer high in potassium. Dwarf shrub varieties do not require pruning of side or top branches.
