Cotyledon Pendens Seeds

Cotyledon pendens is a succulent plant belonging to the sedum family. Often referred to as "droopy bear paws" or "trailing cotyledon," this plant is appreciated for its trailing or cascading growth habit, making it an attractive choice for hanging baskets or containers.

The leaves are oval, with a tip at the tip, and are covered with a thin layer of white powder. The leaves are green to yellow-green in color and easy to grow in groups. When there is sufficient light and a large temperature difference, the leaf tips and edges turn red; cyme-shaped cones. The inflorescence is higher, with small tubular pendulous flowers, orange-red flowers, and five-lobed apex. Blooms in early summer.

🪴Light and watering

Germination period at 10~18°C: Can be grown in the open, with 10 hours of light per day; watering should be gradual and sufficient light should be maintained.

During the vigorous growth period at 18~28°C: it can be grown in the open and watered thoroughly every time. Avoid prolonged rain exposure. No need to water too much, just keep the pot soil slightly moist. The leaf surface is covered with hairs, and high air humidity must be ensured during the growth period.

<10℃ or >33℃ Dormant period: Half shade at noon in hot summer. Better dry than wet. Keep the pot soil dry during high temperatures and spray around the plants if necessary. After entering dormancy in winter, watering should be prohibited to keep the pot soil dry.
