Gerbera is famous for its colorful flowers, from bright orange to soft pink, each one is like a work of art carefully prepared by nature. Not only do they have a long flowering period, which can continuously bring vitality and vigor to your garden or balcony, but they are also the favorites of many gardening enthusiasts for their unique flower shape. These selected gerbera seeds will take you on a colorful gardening journey. They generally bloom from March to September, or all year round (under suitable environment and maintenance)

If you love cut flowers in vases and bouquets but get frustrated because they never seem to last as long as you’d like, you should definitely consider growing Gerbera daisies. When it comes to cutting them and placing them in containers, the Gerbera daisy lasts much longer than almost any other plant you might consider, and gardeners always appreciate this long display life.

The Gerbera daisy comes from a very large family, as there are currently more than 40 species of the plant worldwide. If you like the flower but love variety as well, these are definitely flowers you’ll want to consider growing.

Planting Guide

Prepare the soil: Choose loose, breathable, well-drained soil. You can add appropriate amount of leaf mold or perlite to increase permeability.
Sowing: Sprinkle the seeds evenly on the soil surface and lightly cover with a thin layer of soil (about twice the thickness of the seeds). Keep the soil slightly moist and avoid waterlogging.
Maintenance: Place in a warm, sunny place (shade appropriately in the early stage). Water regularly to keep the soil moist. As the plant grows, gradually increase the light time and intensity.
Waiting for flowering: Wait patiently, the gerbera will bloom gorgeous flowers in the right environment. Regularly trim the dead flowers and overcrowded branches to promote the opening of more flowers.
