1. Prepare soil

When planting lotus flowers, you can directly dig some from the lotus pond where lotus flowers grow, or use a mixture of garden soil and sandy soil as a substitute. Just remember to add an appropriate amount of water at the end and mix it into soil.

2. Select lotus root seeds

When planting lotus flowers, it is necessary to choose 2-3 sections of lotus roots as its seeds, wash them clean, air dry their wounds, and then take them for planting. This can prevent the wounds from being infected in water.

1. Soaking germination

Before planting lotus flowers, it is necessary to soak the seeds in a container filled with water for a while before planting. When soaking, change the water once a day and it will start to sprout in about 7 days.

2. Transplantation and fixed planting

After planting lotus flowers, when their tender buds grow to about 10cm, they can be transplanted into prepared containers. Under sufficient sunlight, lotus leaves will gradually grow for about a month.
