Matthiola incana is a wonderful flower that provides brilliant colors, a spicy fragrance and a nectar source for butterflies. It is commonly referred to as Stock or Hoary Stock, and this variety is called Ten Week Stock. It is grown as an annual in most zones, but in frost-free zones, it will remain as a perennial.

They grow best in areas with cool summers, like coastal areas. For the hot southern climates, grow Stock in the fall for lovely color in the fall and early winter.

How to Grow
