🌱Planting method
🧫Prepare the soil: Choose soil with good air permeability and good drainage. You can add an appropriate amount of decomposed organic fertilizer and calcium sand to the general flower cultivation soil to improve the permeability and fertility of the soil.
🛁Soak seeds: Soak pyrethrum seeds in warm water around 30°C for 10 to 12 hours, which will help speed up the germination process of the seeds.
🫘Sowing: Spread the soaked seeds evenly on the surface of the prepared soil, and then lightly cover them with loose soil or fine sand to a thickness of about 0.5 to 1.0 cm.
💧Moisture management: After sowing, it is necessary to maintain proper soil moisture. You can use a watering can or sprayer to spray water. But avoid over-watering to avoid affecting seed germination and growth.
♨️Light and temperature: Pyrethrum likes warmth and sufficient sunlight. When planting, ensure that the plants receive at least 4 to 6 hours of light every day. At the same time, keep the indoor temperature between 15 and 25°C to facilitate seed germination and seedling growth.
⚕️Emergence and maintenance: After about 5 to 7 days, the seeds will emerge from the soil. When the seedlings grow to 2 to 3 true leaves, they can be pruned appropriately and supplemented with nutrients. As the plants grow, water and fertilize them in a timely manner, and avoid overly dense planting.
